Aqueduct Technologies is looking for a full time IT Manager on-site in Milton, MA that will serve as the technical generalist in an internal customer facing role. This position entails a highly motivated and strategic manager to join our client in the consumer banking space. This position will be responsible for hands on troubleshooting, IT strategy, and road mapping, as well as managing partners and manufacturers. Proven experience in Windows Systems Administration and Tiers 1 and 2 Help Desk troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• IT Operations:
  • Provide hands-on support for basic hardware and software issues as needed.
  • Oversee routine maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems.
  • Manage user accounts and access control.
  • Collaborate with the AQ team to address complex technical challenges.
• Strategic Planning:
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and their potential impact on the company.
  • Identify and assess IT needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals.
• Vendor Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the AQ team, managing the relationship and ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts for IT services and equipment.
  • Ensure optimal service delivery and value from existing vendors.
• Communication and Collaboration:
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and the AQ team.
  • Act as an intermediary between the internal vendors, facilitating clear communication and efficient collaboration.
  • Provide training and support to users on IT policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT support, administration, or management.
• Working knowledge of common operating systems, network protocols, and security principles.
• Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and adaptable, with a sense of urgency and a patient approach.
